Quiet Counsel
Quiet Counsel is a Christian platform dedicated to helping people discover their identity in Christ, understand the heart of the Father, and grow in relationship with the Holy Spirit. This is a space where Jesus is openly preached and where testimonies, revelations, and lived experiences are used to inspire, exhort, and remind others that they are not alone in their journey.
The main purpose is to see people come into a true relationship with Christ, those who are familiar with Him but have not fully surrendered, and those whose understanding of God has been shaped by hurt, distance, or misunderstanding.
My heart’s desire is to encourage and serve young women, older women, and men as well. Helping them encounter the same truth, freedom, and guidance that I believe is available to all in Christ.
“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
1 Corinthians 10:13

Personal Testimony
I was raised in the church but I didn’t know the importance of a relationship with God or understood His love. I knew about Jesus and His sacrifice but I hardly thought about it. I had a fear of God but it wasn’t a fear of reverence but a fear of terror. As a teenager, I didn’t care much for church so I would purposely pick up shifts just to avoid attending on Sundays. My plan in life was to live how I wanted to in my 20s and then start seeking God in my 30’s/40’s. Growing up, I rarely ever prayed. I was only a couple months shy away from turning 20 when I started to read the Bible.
In 2019, I was introduced to the law of attraction. I was intrigued by it and practiced it on a surface level but never fully invested in it. During Covid, I went through a spiritual rabbit hole that made me question the faith I grew up on. One video swayed my beliefs and had me questioning everything I thought I knew. During this time I was also battling with a very unhealthy addiction. Before I sought God, He intervened and delivered me from it.
During this short period of me exploring new age spirituality, I was also seeing many Christian TikTok’s on my timeline. I explored both for a couple of weeks but I eventually left the spirituality beliefs alone and stuck to Christianity.
On May 19th, 2020 I experienced God in a supernatural way. I tangible felt the weight of my sins which lead to me repenting and asking for forgiveness. It wasn’t even five minutes later when I felt His love for me. That day, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior.
I wish I can say that it has been a smooth road since the day I got to saved to now but that’s not the case. A year and a few months in, I became very lukewarm. My relationship with God grew cold and I was indulging in a lifestyle that wasn’t pleasing to Him. I knew what I was doing was wrong but I was comfortable in that state. For a season, I was living a life that glorified my flesh but even in this season God was still close.
Towards the end of 2023, I decided to get back on track with Christ. Even though there were a few bumps along the way, which I’ll discuss on the blog, they have made me stronger me as a Christian. My love for God continues to grow, and my understanding of Him deepens every day.
I’m so grateful for the journey I’m on. It hasn’t been linear, but it has given me the opportunity to connect with people who didn’t grow up with a traditional background in the faith. I can relate to and empathize with fellow believers and unbelievers alike.
I know what it feels like to be suicidal. I know what it feels like to be in a waiting season for a long time, to feel hopeless, unheard, or forgotten by God. I’ve been delivered from depression, anxiety, fear, heartache, and so many other things I can’t wait to share about.
Throughout the past six years, God has shown Himself to me as a Father, a Healer, a Defender, and so much more. This journey is rough, but I carry beautiful scars that testify to the goodness of God.
